** Pay special attention to word endings and prepositions to determine whether or not items in a series follow a parallel structure.

              WRONG: I love skipping, jumping, and to paly tiddlywinks.

              WRONG: I love to skip, jump, and to play tiddlywinks.

              RIGHT: I love to skip, jump, and play tiddlywinks.

              RIGHT: I love to skip, to jump, and to play tiddlywinks.

              RIGHT: I love skipping, jumping, and playing tiddlywinks.
